Haruna is a highly customizable open-source media player built using Qt/QML for its user interface and libmpv for video playback, offering a modern and flexible experience for users seeking advanced features beyond traditional media players.
Key Features:
- Advanced Playlist Management: Automatically populate playlists with files from the same folder as the currently playing file. The playlist can be accessed via mouse-over, keyboard shortcuts (default is P), or a button in the UI. It supports three distinct styles: normal, thumbnail-based, and compact.
- Video Preview on Seek Bar Hover: Quickly preview video content by hovering over the seek bar, enhancing navigation efficiency during playback.
- Configurable Shortcuts and Mouse Actions: Most actions can be triggered using customizable keyboard shortcuts or assigned to mouse buttons (left, middle, right clicks, double-clicks, and scroll actions), providing users with extensive control over their experience.
